Cookie Policy
Effective date: April 15, 2026
Last updated: April 15, 2026
This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies SigmaShake uses on our web properties (sigmashake.com, accounts.sigmashake.com, hub.sigmashake.com, docs.sigmashake.com, and related subdomains).
What We Use
SigmaShake uses first-party cookies only. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking of any kind.
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are required for the service to function. They cannot be disabled.
| Cookie | Domain | Expiry | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
session_id | .sigmashake.com | Session | Authentication session token. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax. Contains a random session identifier — no personal data. |
Analytics Cookies (First-Party)
These cookies help us understand how users interact with our product. All data stays on our infrastructure — we do not share it with third-party analytics providers.
| Cookie | Domain | Expiry | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
sigma_anon | .sigmashake.com | 365 days | Anonymous visitor identifier. A random UUID generated on first visit. Not linked to your account. Used to count unique visitors and understand navigation paths. |
sigma_sid | .sigmashake.com | Session | Anonymous session identifier. A random UUID generated per browser session. Used to distinguish sessions from the same anonymous visitor. |
What We Track
Using the cookies above, we collect the following analytics events and send them to our self-hosted analytics service at analytics.sigmashake.com:
- Page views (path, referrer hostname, UTM parameters)
- Install command copied
- Pricing section viewed
- Checkout started / completed
We do not track:
- Your identity across other websites
- Mouse movements or keystrokes
- Any data from the
ssgCLI (CLI telemetry is separate and disclosed in the CLI documentation)
How to Control Cookies
Browser settings: You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Note that disabling the session_id cookie will prevent you from logging in.
No consent banner: Because we only use strictly necessary and first-party analytics cookies (no advertising or cross-site tracking), we do not display a cookie consent banner. If you are in the EU/EEA and object to our analytics cookies, you can delete them via your browser at any time.
Changes
We may update this policy when we add new functionality. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect changes. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
